Pipsqueak Driver (DPS-D17)

Our Pipsqueak Driver will light 4- 20 feet of Cool Neon wire. It comes with 1 Plug & Play connector set and a 9- 13.8 Volt output with a 9 Volt battery cap attached. Or, use our Long 8 AA Battery Pack (#ACL8AA) to run your Pipsqueak Driver off of 8 AA batteries (12 Volts) instead of a 9 Volt battery, which will make your Cool Neon wire glow brighter, & for longer! (Highly recommended!) The Pipsqueaks are our smallest medium length driver, lightweight & perfect for many projects. They are perfect for Plug & Play use in PC Cases with our Case Mod Power Harness. Please note the new, larger design with 2 screw hole mounting brackets! (Dimensions: 1 1/8 " x 1 1/8 " x 1")

They are very quiet, but slightly dimmer than other drivers with 9v snaps.

This driver comes with a driver side connector pre-soldered to the driver so you can easily plug in a 'wire side connector', 'Y-connector,' or 'plug-and-play extension.' You will receive 1 'wire side connector' FREE when you order this driver. Note: It is normal for all drivers to make an audible pitch when turned on.

8 AA Battery Cage (AC8AAL-E1)

(NOTE: Battery cages very from our normal design, we are currently selling smaller WIDE cages with two rows of 4 Batteries on either side. While smaller than our normal LONG cages the with 4 stacked on 4 the WIDE cages can have a battery become loose in a pocket or bouncy sculpture, this is easliy solved with a rubber band)

Increasing the voltage applied to your Cool Neon wire will increase the brightness! 8 AA batteries will last MUCH longer than a single 9 Volt battery, so you can stay glowing bright all night long!
