TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Prices and specifications are subjected to change without notice. Scienscope reserves the right to correct any errors. Products are shipped FOB Chino, CA via UPS or FedEx unless otherwise specified. Products may not be returned without an approval. Please contact us directly for a return authorization and conditions.
RETURN POLICY
All claims for errors, shortages, or defective merchandise must be made within 10 business days of receipt of shipment. Credit will not be issued thereafter.
There is no restocking fee for returns of unopened, unused, and untested items returned within 10 business days of receipt of product. A restocking fee of 15% will be applied to returns of opened, used, or damaged products to cover our processing, packing, shipping expenses and credit card fees. Additional fees may apply if the item is not returned in its original packaging.
The restocking fee may be waived in the event of a replacement order of equal or greater value being placed through the distributor that the product was original purchased from. We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of up to 15% for the return of resalable items outside of the policy stated here. High-value items of $3500.00 and up will be subject to a restocking fee.
To return merchandise you must first contact us to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization form (RMA). The RMA form will be faxed or email to you and a copy must be included as a packing slip with the returned merchandise. Any returns that arrive without an RMA form as the packing slip will not be accepted and will be returned to sender.
Unless previously agreed upon terms have been made all shipping costs of merchandise returned to us will be paid by the customer.
WARRANY
Scienscope offer a 5-year warranty on all its optical products; including microscopes, auxiliary lenses, video couplers, video lenses, digital camera adapters. All other products are warranted for a 1-year period, including stands, focus mounts, light sources, light guides, cameras and monitors; bulbs are not warranted.
We have the right to replace or exchange, at its option, any and all products sent back for warranty service. Warranty service will be performed by Scienscope when a RMA number is obtained. The defective equipment must be returned, postpaid, to Scienscope with the RMA number in the “attention to” section.
Products determined by Scienscope to abused, misused or used in a negligent manner are not covered under this warranty. Damage resulting from the attempted repairs by unauthorized parties or damage due to accident will not be covered.
