    COURSE DESCRIPTION:

    This workshop will present classroom and hands-on style training necessary to obtain certification for administering and purchasing glycolic chemical peels (for face, hands, or feet) together with prescribing medical grade skin care products for home use. The workshop presents a simple, effective business system for incorporating medical technology into existing or new treatments to increase client results while growing your business.

    DAY 1 - CERTIFICATION

  • Histology & Biology of Skin

  • Techniques for diagnosis and treatment of cosmetic skin conditions

  • Procedure certification for glycolic chemical peel procedures and prescibing medical grade skin care

  • A system for incorporating chemical peels and home care into traditional spa and salon services

  • Business building tools and techniques


    • DAY 2 - OPTION CLINICAL OBSERVATION

    Upon completion of Day 1, participants are invoided to spend the day in a Skin Authority Clinic to observe th principles learned in Day 1 applied in a working medical skin clinic. Day 2 is not required for certification, but is an excellent opportunity for individuals to observe marketing techniquest, client education interaction, and diagnosis and treatment of actual clients.

    REGISTRATION FEE:

    $125. Includes workbook, lab fees and lunch on Day 1. Up to $100 may be applied toward purchasing of professional and retail product at the seminar.

    REQUIREMENTS:

  • MD, RN, PA, or NP license; or

  • Esthetics or cosmetology license from the State of California
