The Alacritech SEN1822ET Volume Accelerator is a dual-port TCP/IP Offload Engine (TOE) Network Interface Card (TNIC) for PCI-E based systems. TNICs accelerate data delivery to enable the fastest, most efficient Windows-based servers today. TNICs offload and process all TCP-based traffic including email, web, file serving, file transfer, backup, and iSCSI storage. By offloading all network protocol processing, Windows-based networked applications run significantly faster and more efficiently.
