| This POE injector connects a single MWB base unit to a 110V AC power system, typically behind an inverter. It converts 110VC AC to 18V DC to power the MWB, and includes a 2m (6') cord with a three-prong, US-style plug.
A POE injector is essentially a hub between three cables: an electrical cable from a power source, a network cable connected to a computer or network switch, and the data/power cable running to an MWB. The injector is typically mounted in a navigation station, or an alternate location convenient to the onboard electrical system and data network. |
