| The MWB-250 is a marine wireless bridge designed for custom installations. Like a fixed VHF, it can be mounted below decks and connected -- via coaxial cable -- to an external antenna mounted on a rail, a radar arch, or a roof structure. (We recommend against mounting your antenna at the top of a mast, whichh creates unnecessary signal loss between the MWB-250 and the antenna.) When connected to an external antenna, the MWB-250 achieves more gain and longer range connections than the portable MWB-200. |
| The MWB-250 includes a 15 meter (50') data/power cable, for connecting the unit to a Power-over-Ethernet (POE) injector or switch. Please add a 12V or 110V POE injector or POE switch, together with an external antenna, to complete your order. |
