INARA's brand philosophy is more than simply creating amazing, 100% organic bath and body products, it's also about protecting the planet, respecting ancient rituals and empowering women. The star ingredient in the INARA collection is pure, certified organic Babassu oil that's been collected for centuries by the women from Maranhão, Brazil. When the land was on the verge of being developed, the women created the Free Babassu movement and two fair trade cooperatives were formed to protect the land and the tradition of harvesting the oil while providing jobs. INARA works with these fair trade co-ops to help keep this tradition alive while simultaneously bringing us amazing organic body care products. Each product, with the exception of the vanilla lip balm, is scented with INARA's unique Enliven blend of Grapefruit, Geranium, Mandarin and Sage essential oils.
