| Installing your arbor into the ground isn't as difficult as you might think.

Because of UPS limitations, the arbors come flush with the ground. There are two options to secure your arbor into the ground:
1. Sleeve pressure treated lumber into the post of the arbor to extend into the ground. We recommend buying a 3' piece of lumber and sleeving it up the cavity of the arbor 1'. This leaves 2' to insert into the ground. Dig four holes and insert the lumber extended posts into the ground. Fill the holes with tightly packed dirt or gravel. It is not necessary to use concrete in the holes, but for extra stability, or in high wind areas, it's a good idea.
For arbors with 4' or 5' posts, use 4x4 PT lumber, for arbors with 3 1/2" posts, use 2x4 PT lumber (slide diagonally into the cavity of the arbor).

2. Aussie Augers If you would prefer to avoid digging holes, our Aussie Augers offer a no-hassle, dig free way to mount your arbor into the ground.
Want to mount your arbor on a surface, such as a patio, deck, or driveway? Use our Surface Mounts.
