New from Snappy RC, the Ultimate Baja Fuel Line Kit!
The magical part of this kit is not just that you can get a tank grommet without buying an expensive tank... It is that you also don't need to buy the gas cap to get the guts for your billet cap anymore. There is a check valve breather that fits the third tube so your cap can be sealed up and no more leaks!!!
Basic installation instructions are as follows: •Cut tubing to desired length (recommended 14” for fuel pickup, 10” for return, 11” for vent check valve) •Insert tubing into grommet (Return and vent tubing should be only a half inch through the grommet and the pickup tube should be five inches into the grommet) •Install fuel pickup filter and vent check valve •Install grommet in tank. It is a very tight fit (Use some 2-cycle oil for lubrication and install with a twisting motion) •Remove old guts from gas cap and plug vent hole (Plug the vent hole with “SealAll” or tap the hole and install a set screw) •Install the o-ring in the cap (Be sure to remove any burs on billet caps before installing the o-ring) •This kit is intended to be used with gasoline not ethanol
Note: There are dropdown options for your 3 fuel line colors. You can choose whichever you like. The cost of the fuel line is 80 cents per piece, and is added in addition to the base price of the kit. Each type of fuel line you select will be cut to a 15" piece, so all 3 pieces will be plenty long enough.
Optional Full-Force fittings are now available, using these fittings will allow for maximum unrestricted fuel flow.
Note: We recommend using a 1/2" piece of the stock tubing on the FFRC brass tube barbs to improve the fit when installing them into the SnappyRc fuel kit grommet.
