Why Is The Payee Field Missing In Spend Money?

The payee field will not appear on the spend money window if you have selected your regular checking account as the account for electronic payments.


Under Setup -- Linked Accounts -- Accounts & Banking Accounts... make sure you do not have your regular checking account setup as the Bank Account for Electronic Payments. Create a new account named 'Electronic Payments' and use this account as the linked account for electronic payments. Even if you do not use this MYOB Business Services feature, you must value this field. The payee will again be available.
