| Megan Scofield is a resident of Butler County. While growing up Megan’s aunt inspired her with her pieces of art. By her teenage years, Megan decided to become an artist. She mostly taught herself as an artist and has also attended the University of Montevallo. She produces whimsical paintings in which she uses acrylic paint on canvas, tin and particle board. She purchases her materials from local and regional art supply stores and also uses loose scraps. It usually takes her 3 or 4 days to complete a painting. The most rewarding aspect from her artwork is to see the appreciation from others. |
