| Ruby Ward is a resident of Wilcox County. She began working with oil paintings in 1977 and started making flower pens four years ago. She uses flowers, ribbon and anything that will go into a flower pen. She has also produced acrylic works but mostly loves oil painting. She took art lessons at Alabama Southern and taught herself how to make the flower pens. She enjoys art and all the beauty around her that sometimes others take for granted. She has also had her oil paintings displayed in the Governor’s Mansion. |
