Scarlett Butts is a self-taught artist and seamstress. Although she does not classify herself as an artist, she admits that crafting is an art-form. Scarlett believes that anyone can paint, as long as one tries and keeps on trying. As a stay-at-home mom, she appreciates the ability to be creative, provide an additional income, and be with her family as much as possible.
Created out of necessity, Scarlett’s burp cloths are made from standard cloth diapers. She found that making her own burp cloths for her boys was more economical and rewarding than purchasing ready-made. Scarlett’s bulletin boards begin as ordinary ceiling tiles that she paints free-hand. Her choice of colors reflects her vibrant personality. Since she loves to personalize items, she is always open to the buyer’s personal preferences.
