2009 House-League Programs

1v1 Soccer Community Schemes

1v1 Soccer's community scheme represents vibrant and active community based soccer programs that aim to support soccer development and nurture a passion for the game. The scheme offers many activities including regular fun coaching sessions, summer and winter house-league development programs, school holiday camps and inner city schools programs.

At 1v1 Soccer, we believe that involvement in soccer can greatly influence the overall development of children and that in the early ages; fun and development must be emphasized over competition. 1v1 is the leader in small-sided game format. In our House League Development program we introduce young players to the basic skills required to play the game and then let them enjoy using their new skills in small-sided game formats. This format allows for more touches on the ball allowing children the opportunity to practice their techniques and skills.

At 1v1 Soccer, we place an emphasis on:

  • Small-sided games
  • Instruction by professional coach educators
  • Positive and fun environment to allow children to develop as people and players
  • Development of technique and understanding of the game
  • Understanding of team play and fair play

  Burlington - Mini-Soccer Development Program

Mini-Soccer - The best introduction to the Worlds' Greatest game

Mini soccer is accessible for boys and girls from an early age and encourages co-ordination skills and team participation.

  Mini-Soccer Benefits
The Main theme throughout Mini-Soccer is to meet the needs of children.  Eleven-a-side soccer  does not meet those needs.  Mini-Soccer modifies the 11v11 game of soccer without losing the essence of the game.

Tier One, Tier Two & U3 Programs
The Tier 1 program format is designed for players who are interested in participating in a program that is “training based” and will prepare young players for more advanced playing opportunities in the future.

Tier 2 program will be based on our standard program where the emphasis is placed on playing games and introductory coaching prior to games is instructed by volunteer coaches instructed by our staff.
