Bonjour! My name is Valerie. I live in the second largest country in the world. Our country is divided into 10 provinces and 3 territories, and our capital is Ottawa. We speak 2 official languages, French and English. My dad is a "Mountie," a policeman on horseback. On special occasions he and his horse ride in parades. Sometimes, he lets me ride with him! My country is filled with trees and beautiful rivers adn streams. My mom knows the names of all the plants and fish and teaches them to me. When I grow up, I want to be a park ranger so I can help preserve the forests. That way, my kids will get to enjoy them just like I do. Do you know where I live? CANADA! |
