LIMITED WARRANTY
U.S.A. Only
The warranty period is published in the product operating instructions or on product literature. No other warranty shall be implied or specified. The manufacturer warrants that the unit (Product) when shipped in its original container, will be free from defective workmanship and materials, and agrees that it will at its option, either repair the defect or replace the defective Product for a new or comparable refurbished product or part thereof at no charge to the purchaser for parts or labor. This warranty does not apply to any appearance items of the Product, nor any product the exterior of which has been damaged or defaced, which has been subject to misuse or abnormal service or handling, nor which has been altered or modified in design or construction. This warranty does not cover glass parts or lamps requiring replacement under normal use and service. In order to enforce the rights under this Limited Warranty, the purchaser should ship prepay the Product, together with proof of purchase, to the Pegasus AV repair facility.. The limited warranty repair or replacement shall not extend the original warranty period of the product.
The limited warranty described above is in addition to whatever implied warranties may be granted to the purchaser by law. Neither the sales personnel of the seller, nor other person is authorized to make warranties other than those described above, or to extend the duration of any warranty beyond the time period described on behalf of the manufacturer. The warranties described above shall be sole and exclusive warranties granted by the manufacturer, and shall be the sole and exclusive remedy available to the purchaser.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
This warranty does not cover and shall be void for defects or damages resulting from casualty, accident, misuse or abuse, neglect alterations/correction of defects, in the manner and for the period of time described above, shall constitute complete fulfillment of all liabilities and responsibilities of the manufacturer to the purchaser with respect to the product, and shall constitute full satisfaction of all claims, whether based on contract, negligence, and strict liability or otherwise. In no event shall the manufacturer be liable, or in any way responsible, for any damage or defects in the Product, which were caused by repairs or attempted repairs performed by anyone other then the manufacturer. Nor shall the manufacturer be liable, or in any way responsible for, any incidental or consequential economic or property damage. This warranty also does not cover Products used as rental or leased equipment. PEGAUS and its service providers are not responsible for damage or loss during shipping. Consumable items such as lamps are not covered under this warranty policy.
Pegasus limited warranty does not cover any product which is not distributed in the U.S.A. by Pegasus Audio Visual Products, Inc., or an authorized dealer.
WARRANTY SERVICE
Should your product(s) fail during the warranty period, please contact PEGASUS Service & Support using the following options (1) the telephone number listed our web-pages or written documentation. (2) E-Mail Support@pegasusav.com. If your Product (s) is eligible for warranty service, you will be issued a Return Authorization (RA) number and given shipping instructions. Please include proof of the date of original purchase (invoice, receipt) Postage, insurance and shipping cost incurred in returning your product to PEGASUS or its authorized service provider (“service provider”)for warranty service is your responsibility. PEGASUS and its Service Provider are not responsible for any loss or damage for the Product while the product is in transit to or from PEGASUS or its Service Provider. A Product returned for warranty service must be shipped complete in its original packaging container to avoid damage while in transit. You are solely responsible for shipping charges and other costs incurred in connection with the return of defective Product to PEGASUS or it’s service provider. PEGASUS will pay return freight via ground services.
STATE LAW RIGHTS
Some states do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the exclusion may not apply to you.
