This bulletin briefly reviews and summarizes the smoking-related legislation enacted during the 2007 session of the North Carolina General Assembly. It also attempts to respond to some of the questions that are being asked about the changes in the law, with a particular focus on how the law expanded local governments’ authority to regulate smoking.
