Self-Paced Presentation Self-Paced Course Title: Jail Credit and Sentencing - IDS Employees

"Jail Credit and Sentencing" was presented by Anthony "Tony" Purcell, Assistant Public Defender in Mecklenburg County, at the 2008 New Misdemeanor Defender Training.  In this session, Tony provides an overview for new defenders on topics such as calculating jail credit, determining what qualifies as a prior conviction for determining prior record level, concurrent versus consecutive sentences, and what effect a new conviction may have for a probationer.

IDS employees are public, appellate, and capital defenders, special counsel, and IDS staff who are state employees in one of those offices.  If you are not an IDS employee, you may not purchase this CLE session at the discounted rate.
