GrapeCraft is the practical art of touching the human soul with the soul of a place by rendering its grapes into liquid music. Winemaking is just a specialized branch of cooking. Our family operates the largest winemaking consulting firm in the world: a kind of Culinary Institute for winemakers. Our clients are enologists who usually have great scientific backgrounds, but often no formal training in technique. We train them to work with wines as would a great chef, to present distinctive terroir expression with a skilled hand. We make GrapeCraft wines to showcase these techniques. They are tremendous bargains, even at the higher price levels.
