Unable to load data

SYMPTOMS

When a particular computer is running WinCruise, all others are unable to load the data, and vice-versa.

 

SOLUTION

Ensure the LOCAL SHARE on the server is set to TRUE as outlined above.

 

1 Beginning at the server, then at each workstation, launch BDE ADMINISTRATOR from the Window's Control Panel.

2 In the CONFIGURATION tab, click the”+” on DRIVERS, then NATIVE, then click on PARADOX.

3 Ensure NET DIR is set to the correct data path.

4 Choose OBJECT_>APPLY in the menubar.

5 Click OK to any dialogs that appear.

6 Choose OBJECT_>MERGE in the menubar.

7 Select “idapi32.cfg” in the next dialog and click OPEN.

8 Click OK to any dialogs.
