Subscribing to WinCruise Professional

INTRODUCTION

This article will detail how to subcribe to WinCruise Professional, and detail system requirements.

 

 

SUMMARY

WinCruise Professional™ is a 32- bit Windows®-based software package Designed for travel agencies. It allows agents to track clients and vendors, create bookings for tours and cruises, manage group inventory, and manage bank accounts. This software automates the most common services provided by today’s travel agencies.

 

 

System Requirements

Before subscribing to WinCruise Professional, make sure your computer system meets the minimum system requirements listed below: 

 

Microsoft Windows® 95, 98 Second Edition, NT 4.0, ME, 2000 Professional, or

 Windows XP Professional or Home Edition.

Intel® Pentium II 300MHz or higher processor

128 MB of RAM

VGA with 256 colors (SVGA 1MB video or better recommended)

90 MB available hard disk space

Microsoft® Internet Explorer 5.5 with MSIE Service Pack 2 or later

There are no special requirements to run WinCruise on a network except you must have a 32-bit Windows operating system installed on your computers (e.g., Windows 95, through XP Professional). For example, you can run WinCruise on a Novell® network as long as the server and workstations are running Windows 9x, NT 4.0, 2000, or, XP Professional.

 

 

Subscribing to WinCruise Professional 

            1. From our website www.wincruise.com select Subscribe.

2. Fill out the subscription form and click on Submit Now

3. Click on Download WinCruise Now!

4. Save the wcpfull.exe file to your hard drive, making note of the location.  

 

 

Please Note:

If installing both a server and workstations: 

 

1. Save the install file (wcpfull.exe) file to a location on your computer that can be accessed by other systems on the network.

2. Install the server first. After the initial install is completed, share the WinCruise folder and the “root” disk drive it is on.

3. Before installing workstation, map the “root” drive that hosts Win-Cruise\Data as a mapped network drive.

4. See your Windows documentation or Windows help menu for specific help with these procedures.

 

 

MORE INFORMATION

Shortly after downloading the installation software for the first time, you will receive a fax of your license agreement. If you download the software during non-business hours, this fax will arrive the next business day.

Sign the agreement and fax back only those pages that require a signature. The agreement will include your Account Number which is needed to complete the installation of WinCruise.

 

During the installation process you may need to call WinCruise, Inc. to get authorization Code. Make sure you have a phone available and that you are performing the installation during our normal support hours Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Central Time.

 

If re-downloading to reinstall or to install only a workstation, fill out only the fields labeled Your Full Name and Company Name on the Subscribe page.
