A mechanic with a massive tool, a cowboy who’ll kill for his man, a professor with an eye for seamen, and a pair of naked thieves; these were the men of Bob Mizer’s imagination. We’ve compiled six color films from the archives of the prolific physique photographer that exemplify his taste for manly men. When Mizer was king, all you needed was a ten-gallon-hat, a toy gun, and a throbbing member. They just don’t make ‘em like they used to – but we do. During the tumultuous time between the 60s and 70s, a small, but brave, few gave birth to the fantasies of many in movie houses across the US. These films have not been seen since they debuted in adult movie houses some 40 years ago.

SYNOPSIS:
Bike Shop Trade
Richard Monroe and Billy Hamilton (1969)
In this 1969 skin flick, Richard Monroe plays a grease monkey with a specialty in lube jobs, and ginger-headed Billy Hamilton plays a hard-up patron, desperate for a quick fix. When Hamilton first arrives at the bike shop, Monroe plays hard to get, demanding that there’s no way he can fix Hamilton’s hog in an afternoon. But Billy won’t take no for an answer, so Richard decides to give it a look. After a few hours of tweaking and tinkering, the mechanic comes up empty handed, and when he asks the biker for the dough to pay for his labor, Hamilton refuses. As it turns out, he’s fresh out of cash, but that doesn’t stop Richard from getting what he wants. He quickly strips Billy of his leather duds and denim jeans, revealing Billy’s washboard abs and decent endowment. As Billy drops trou, Richard slips out of his coveralls. With the two stripped naked, hostility turns to affection and the mechanic gets a lube job of his own.
Jealous Cowboy
Pat Corrigan and Kerry Fairchild (1970)
Kerry Fairchild is a man on a mission. He’s come to teach the philandering Pat Corrigan that no one messes with his woman. Gun in hand he barges into Corrigan’s apartment and accuses him of screwing his old lady. Holding the man at gunpoint, he demands that Corrigan strip naked and ties him to the bed. He says he’ll teach him a lesson and pulls a razor from his pocket, pressing it against the flesh of his cock. Corrigan grabs Fairchild’s gun from its holster and gives him a taste of his own medicine. Instead of slicing his manhood, however, Corrigan shows him that love is the answer. After tonight, they’ll both learn that they’ve got a whole lot more similarities than they do differences.
Desert Thieves
(1969)
A young cowboy stops for a little R&R under the desert sun. He strips down, leaving only his cowboy boots, and falls fast asleep. As he slumbers, two desert thieves approach, dawning black boots, masks and nothing more. They quickly discover the snoozing cowpoke’s clothes and go straight for his wallet. Just when they think they’ve hit the jackpot, however, their victim awakes. Needless to say, the cowboy is caught off guard and jumps to his feet, ready for a fight. But as it turns out, these thieves are lovers, not fighters. So the three settle their differences with a little heavy petting. Once the rubdowns are complete, the robber’s return his possessions and mosey on down the road.
Professor’s Sailor
Ramon Gabron and Paul Fox (1971)
This story of brains meets brawn starts with a simple handshake. A young sailor, fresh off the boat, approaches a professor reading a magazine in a city park. With barely an introduction, the two engage in a passionate kiss, and the sailor is ready to take it to the next level. Only this professor is all about discretion, and invites the young stud back to his place for a little intellectual stimulation. Just as before, the sailor is looking for a whole lot more, and within a few minutes, every inch of his supple young skin, save his stocking feet, is exposed. Against the professor’s protests, the sailor disrobes him too, but he continues to play hard to get. It seems this intellectual suffers from a broken heart, but he’ll learn soon enough that all it takes is a little seaman to mend his wounds.
Nevada Smith Posing
Nevada Smith (1969)
A sorrowful rendition of ‘Home on the Range’ plays in the background as this young buck displays his pistol, and his gun. Watch as this horse-hung cowboy shows off his fancy gun slingin’ for the camera. He may not be the quickest draw this side of the Mississippi, but he’s certainly the sexiest. Nevada’s perfectly formed muscles, and baby face are enough to make any cowboy cry.
The Marine and the Mexican
Jesse Mariga and Bill Scott (1971)
The military recruitment office is having a hard time finding a few good men. It seems, no matter what they try, they keep coming up short. So when an able bodied young stud like Jesse Mariga, comes in to sign up, you’d think they’d be all over him like white on rice. But in a case of mistaken identity, they almost turn him away, convinced that he’s one of “them hippies,” from Sunset Blvd. It turns out, the drug rug isn’t a fashion statement, it’s traditional garb. Mariga is a Mexican, and a hot one at that. To prove he’s got what it takes to be a Marine, Mariga peels off his pants to expose his best assets. Soon the recruiter and the Mexican are both stark naked, examining who’s got the bigger gun. It won’t be long before they realize that they’re looking to make love, not war.
