Paper is one of the single most important choices you can make when it comes to defining your artwork or photographs. When my studio first began in 1980, I had the fortune of being close enough to the great paper houses of New York City. I would leaf through packages of papers from all the great hand-made paper mills of the world. I could choose between small runs of papers from the European mills or their staple sheets.
