JonCone Studio papers are now released! I do not use my own name on products unless they are truly exceptional. This paper is what I use in my own studio, as well as the Cone Editions Press. JonCone Studio is a development house for very special clients who require extensive ink and process development. It is also where I print my own exhibition prints and portfolios. It is a modest sized studio, not nearly the size of Cone Editions Press. A giant Roland printer is crammed into it along with several Epson printers, a small ink mixing lab, and lots of paper. JonCone Studio papers are suitable for photography and they are suitable for fine art. They are not textured. As much as I like the texture of paper when I hold it, I find that in exhibition lighting the tiny surface shadows caused by the textures interfere with the intentions of the photographs and prints. My papers are very archival; designed for the long life my clients expect. And naturally, they exhibit very high dMax with my inks. I hope that you will try and use them in your own studio.
