StudioPrint RIP description

In 2004 and 2005, ErgoSoft RIPs have won over ten of the digital printing industry's top printing awards, including three DPI Product of the Year Awards and six DIMA Shoot-out Awards.

Long considered simply workflow tools for digital color printing, RIPs have now evolved into color management solutions. ErgoSoft has developed its own color management system for the generation of ICC profiles, ColorGPS. Since 2002, ErgoSoft has maintained support for Piezography monochrome inks with an innovative monchrome ink profiler with support for up to seven dilutions.

With ErgoSoft consistently setting new standards for productivity, color accuracy and image fidelity, StudioPrint has been quickly becoming the preferred RIP for digital printing professionals with whom quality is paramount.

Support for Epson, Mimaki, Roland, Mutoh, and many others printers.

A True Digital Darkroom
StudioPrint is like having a skilled protogé tasked solely with printmaking, leaving you to focus on your ethos: image creation. While your images are being printed, simultaneously images can be imported, edited, and perfected. This not only saves valuable time but also maximizes energy best spent in the creative process.

Black and White Print
The especially developped dithering method now allows to print with up to seven shades of black. The results achieved through this method surpass the quality of traditionally made output by far. Supports all PiezoTone and Piezography Neutral K6/K7 ink sets.

State-of-the-Art Color Management
At the heart of StudioPrint is its sophisticated color rendering engine. A powerful open-architecture color management system, custom linearization and ink limit, support for X-Rite Pulse and GretagMacbeth Eye1, and integrated profiler, ColorGPS, all combine to provide an unprecedented level of control accuracy and image fidelity.

Efficient Workflow
Save the power of Photoshop for image editing and leave the intensive image processing to StudioPrint. Scale, rotate, duplicate, and precisely impose single images or scatter proofs quickly and effortlessly. Custom borders with logos, colors, and text, cut marks, barcodes, and archiving details can also be added automatically.

Comprehensive Printer Support
StudioPrint v12 supports the photographic industryʼs most popular printers such as Epson, including the new K3 series printers 9800, 7800 & 4800. Also, v12 comes with drivers for Canon, Roland, Mimaki & HP printers as well. And exclusive to StudioPrint, a complete set of drivers for dʼVinci, the revolutionary 12 color inkjet that won two DIMA Shootout Awards at PMA 2005 and uses PiezoTone Selenium Tone inks as part of its monochrome - color magic!
