Canson Rag Photographique is a warm white archival smooth sheet which always produces a unique color variant of any Piezography ink. This coating is unique and results in unusual results. By example, when used with Selenium the result is a chocolaty brown tone.

JonCone Studio Type1 is a clean white archival smooth cotton sheet this sheet is considered "neutral" in terms of altering the color of the selected ink.

Hahnemuhle PhotoRag is slightly smoother than Type1.
