ConeColor K3 color compatible ink in 1 litre bottles - (set of 9 including both photo and matte black)
ConeColor color compatible inks are designed for EPSON Ultrachrome K3 printers such as the EPSON 2400, 4800, 7800 and 9800. These inks are designed to be used as an entire set in order to arrive at color compatibility. This means that you can use the same existing workflow that you use for EPSON K3 inks with ConeColor inks. Whether you use EPSON printer driver presets, or ICC profiles, or a combination of both - ConeColor inks are designed to slip right into the same workflow.
Because ConeColor inks are color compatible, you do not need to make custom ICC profiles for your existing workflow. Of course, if you prefer to you can.
ConeColor inks use much of the same pigment technology as found in the Piezography K7 and MPS inks. This means that these inks utilize a proprietary pigment treatment and a very slippery vehicle to insure that the pigments do not clog in printer heads, and that startup and resting periods are no more traumatic on your EPSON printer than it would be using EPSON's own inks. Finally, these inks do not use any dye whatsoever and that contrasts differently with EPSON's K3 inks. ConeColor believes that longevity should never be compromised by using dye in conjunction with pigment, when its possible to achieve the same gamut without the use of dye.
