How do I use the new Byki on my iPod / mp3 player?

If you purchased the program on a CD, please follow these simple steps:

  1. Open up iTunes
  2. Go to File / Add Folder to Library
  3. In the small window, Click (My) Computer
  4. Click your DVD drive
  5. Click BykiPods
  6. Hit OK and wait for the files to add to iTunes. You can add each individual folder to the library if you wish.
If you purchased the program as a download, follows the steps below:

---------------

Before following the steps below:

Windows

Make sure that you run the .exe file first to extract the mp3 files before adding them to iTunes (Watch Movie).

You should NOT be adding this .exe file to iTunes by dragging and dropping, this will NOT work. The name of the file you need to execute ends in BykiPod.exe.

  1. Open up iTunes
  2. Go to File / Add Folder to Library
  3. In the small window, Click (My) Computer
  4. Click the C: drive
  5. Click Program Files
  6. Click Transparent
  7. Click Byki 4
  8. Hit OK and wait for the files to add to iTunes. You can add each individual folder to the library if you wish.

Macintosh

Make sure that you run the BykiPod .dmg file first to mount the mp3 files to your desktop. The folders that appear in the Finder window are the files you need to add to iTunes.

  1. Open up iTunes
  2. Go to File / Add Folder to Library
  3. Navigate to your Byki Pod mounted file and add the folders
If you use Windows Media Player
  1. Click File / New Playlist
  2. Type a name for your playlist
  3. Click OK Drag and drop the folders into playlist area Click File / Save Playlist
Other media players / mp3 players
Treat the two folders the same way as you would any music files and add them to your player. See your player's documentation for details on adding files and folders.
