A free update to your version 3.6 program is provided for both Windows and Macintosh.
WINDOWS
Click here to update your Windows BYKI program. This update:Makes your BYKI 3.6 program Vista compatibleCorrects a problem with installation of the handheld application
Offers support for some newer languagesUpdates the old Help files (.chm format instead of the old .hlp format)Adds some special characters (i.e. the č in the Slovak language)This update fixes:Problem with seeing the lists (they appear to be missing) even though they were installedAn error that the handheld installation can't find the Byki program, even though the program was definitely installedKeyboard layouts for Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, and Finnish languages
NOTE: If you previously purchased the BYKI program for your Windows XP machine, and you are learning a language with Asian fonts, the free update will NOT update the information for language support for Asian languages on Vista.
MACINTOSH
Click here to update your Macintosh BYKI program. This update:Fixes the problem with the Arabic fonts not connecting properly.Fixes the problem with the lists not showing up in the Byki packaged with Random House Essential Verbs book on a Mac Tiger system.
Adds some special characters (i.e. the č in the Slovak language)Keyboard layouts for Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, and Finnish languages
NOTE: If you previously downloaded the free Byki Lite program, delete its containing folder and empty the trash before updating your Deluxe program.
