If you own Power Japanese, check to see if the Japanese fonts (Hiragana and Katakana TrueType, labels beginning with PJ) are installed. Do so by going to Start, Control Panel, and double clicking the fonts folder (or, click Start, click Run, and type fonts) Then, scroll down to find PJ Hiragana (TrueType) and PJ Katakana (TrueType) fonts. If they are not listed, insert the Power Japanese CD-ROM in your CD-ROM drive.
Click on the File menu in the Fonts folder and then select Install New Font. In the Drives window, change the drive by choosing the drive letter of your CD-ROM drive. Double-click on FONTS. In the list Of Fonts window, select the fonts you would like to install then hit the OK button.
Restart the Computer, then run the program.
