The SP8 was released in 2006 and represents Smart Parts' main jump into the scenario paintball league. SP8 is essentially a cosmetically-modified Ion; an Ion that includes new external parts and components in order to give it the look of an XM8 rifle. There are several expanded upgrades available for the SP8, which will give it the full adapted look of an actual firearm.
