The DMX‐8 USB Mixer is a software‐controlled hardware solution that combines the functions of an 8‐input to 4‐channel mixer with a 4‐channel audio encoder card in a single compact device. This means that all analog signal processing takes place within the mixer and the four (4) digital recording channels are delivered via PCM stream to the recording computer, through the USB 2.0 interface.
The eight (8) inputs are software configurable to accept either dynamic, condenser or line‐level inputs. All input channels are mixable to four (4) discrete channels for recording, and four (4) mono (mix‐minus) output channels are available for delivery to teleconferencing and videoconferencing applications. A master composite output of all
input channels is available for delivery of audio through a public address system.
