Kunos Natural Oil Sealer is a durable high resin waterproof clear oil that penetrates deeply and hardens from within, giving a satin finish to wood, cork and bamboo. Offering a healthy alternative to commonly used toxic products, all LIVOS ® naturals are produced from organic ingredients that are grown without pesticides, are 100% biodegradable and safe for humans, animals, air, water and soil. LIVOS® naturals are a good buy, often covering up to twice as much square footage as conventional synthetic products.

Range of application: For massive interior timber surfaces. Suitable for furniture, window sills, floors and for OSB. Not to be used on cabinet interiors, or for treatment of Multiplex and plywood.
Technical qualities: Transparent, satin finish, water repellent according to German Industrial Norm DIN 68 861, part 1. Open-pored. Produces a protective film after 2 - 3 coats. German Industrial Norm DIN 53 160 certified for color fastness when exposed to perspiration and saliva. DIN EN 71 Part 3 certified, suitable for toys.
Application Method: Suitable for brush, roller (velours), cloth, spray, dipping, or machine applications at temperatures above 120 C (53.6 O F).
Coverage: First coat: 1 undiluted liter (1.06 fl. quart.) covers appr. 22 m² (237 ft²), i.e. 45ml/m². Second coat: 1 undiluted liter (1.06 fl. quart.) covers appr. 88 m²/l (968 ft²), i.e. 11ml/m². Third coat: 1 undiluted liter (1.06 fl. quart.) covers appr. 295 m²/l (3.174 ft²), i.e. 4ml/m². Coverage depends on surface condition and absorbency. Pre-testing your project is recommended.
Cleaning: Clean equipment immediately after use with LEVO Brush Cleaner No. 994.
Drying Time: At 23°C (73.4 O F) and a relative humidity of 50%: first coat 12 hours, further coats 24 hours. Final durability reached after 4 weeks.
Specific Gravity: Approximately 0.89 g/ml.
Safety Advice: Always be sure to store working materials; cleaning cloth, sponges, etc. that are still wet or even slightly moist with KUNOS Oil Sealer No. 241 in an airtight metal container or in water, as there is a danger of combustion caused by linseed oil content. The product itself will not combust spontaneously. Contains limonene. S 2 Keep out of the reach of children. S 62 If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Seek medical advice immediately and show this container or label.
Disposal: According to local official regulations.
Storage: Cool and dry. Please, see label for expiration date. Transfer unused portion of product to a smaller container for storage.
