KEMPAS: is compact, hard and heavy. In addition, kempas is highly decorative with its subtle patterns and color tones of brandy and dark rum. Kempas has a natural resistance to decay and remains smooth under friction.
PREFINISHED: Satin with 3 coats of UV cured, anti-scartch, aluminum-oxide top coat. You can expect the highest quality of prefinishing that is available on the market today. We offer a full standard twenty-five year finish wear layer warrenty.
COLOR: Kempas offers a wide range of color variability from a pale pink-tan color to a medium dark-reddish color. Kempas undergoes a medium degree of muting of the color range over time and a slight darkening to a medium reddish color.
HARDNESS: Janka hardness of 1710 as compared to the hardness of 1290 for Red Oak.
