Chocolate Workshop for Kids

Workshops available from July 11 2008 to August 16 2008

Purpose:
To teach children chocolate making techniques. In the process they will learn cooking protocols, chocolate properties and flavor combinations.

Program:
· The kids will be instructed on how to prepare themselves to be able to work in the kitchen, (use the apron and the hair net and wash their hands).· They will all bring home their chocolate creations.

Age Range: kids from 7 to 12 years old (flexible)Duration: about 2 hours each workshop

Cost:
Single workshop: $20 per kid- Second kid $16- Third or more kids $15
Per week (4 classes*): $68 per kid-Second kid $54- Third or more kids $50
*Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and SaturdayMaterials included.

Days:
Tuesdays: How to make chocolate bonbons
1st workshop:10AM-12PM and 2nd workshop: 2PM-4PM

Thursday: Decorating chocolate bars
1st workshop:10AM-12 and 2nd workshop: 2PM-4PM

Friday: Exploring textures with chocolate
1st workshop:10AM-12 and 2nd workshop: 2PM-4PM

Saturday: Painting with chocolate
Single workshop:2PM-5PM

Max occupancy: 20 kids ~ First come first served.
