2008 ABMS 75th Anniversary Book

This hardcover book showcases the rich history of ABMS, beginning in 1933 to its 75th anniversary in 2008. It traces ABMS’ role of service in the public trust through establishing board certification as a gold standard and expansion of the certification process to include lifelong learning opportunities. Organizational milestones are highlighted through sections describing the specialty board movement, creation of ABMS, certification verification, Member Board incorporation and specialty education and quality partnerships. ABMS leadership and service honorees are also featured. The book is filled with historical photos from ABMS and the Member Boards and photos from the 75^th Anniversary Meeting and Celebration in September 2008.

ABMS 2008 Guide to Physician Specialties

The 2008 edition of the Guide to Physician Specialties booklet includes background information about the ABMS organization, board certification, ABMS Maintenance of Certification™ and how to verify certification. A description of each of the specialties and subspecialties organized by the 24 Member Board that issues the certification is included as well as contact information for each ABMS Member Board, associate member. A reference chart summarizes the specialties and subspecialties where certification is offered.

ABMS 2006 Annual Review

Published annually, "ABMS 2006 Annual Review" is a 24-page color brochure of the ABMS year in review. The brochure is an excellent showcase of what ABMS has accomplished in 2005-2006 and what it intends to do in 2007 and beyond, including not only a financial review but Maintenance of Certification (MOC) programs as well.
